Situated on Watling Street in London, this bookstore brings the warmth and coziness of a home reading room to a public space. With a simple and familiar layout, it offers a sense of comfort and ease for visitors, while the integrated Books Café enhances this inviting atmosphere. After exploring various configurations, we found that parallel bookshelf arrangements create the most dynamic movement paths, encouraging visitors to navigate and discover the space freely.

The flow of the bookstore draws you in, with a low-height entrance table providing an open view of the entire interior, sparking curiosity to explore. At the client's request, we incorporated extensive wood finishes, blending these with warm LED lighting for a modern, inviting ambiance that underscores the bookstore's welcoming feel.
