The name BIO4 stands for four key areas: biomedicine, biotechnology, bioinformatics and biodiversity. BIO4 campus, as a unique space that covers about 20 hectares of land and will include educational and scientific research institutions with a long tradition. Eight scientific institutes will be fully or partially present in the Campus The ambition of the BIO4 campus is to become the first such campus in the region of Southeast Europe, and a recognized place on the global map of research and development.
BIO4 will enable a faster and more efficient transition of the healthcare system towards modern, innovative diagnostics and treatments, based on data and the latest scientific knowledge. The BIO4 campus will be home to a whole range of modern diagnostic tools, which are also an important part of any research.
